Discussion
Hello all
due to starting a new job the TTS has to go. long journeys are killing my back
currently at 400hp and 420 ft lbs. so don't want to big of a downgrade in speed if it all
anyone got recommendations? I prefer smaller cars but don't think itll fit in the comfortable bracket.
budget 30k
any ideas?
thanks

If it were me and fuel economy wasn't an issue but you still want the power and comfort, surely something like an M5 or E63 would work well but obviously not small cars. M3/C63 might be a decent compromise though.
I drive an old E Class diesel as a daily car, still decent power and torque but by no means a properly fast car but it's brilliantly comfortable for covering miles.
I'd be aiming for the fast version of something that's really comfortable in base spec.

I can go all day in my RS Focus (without the awkwardly high shell seat option). The standard seats are snug though, so if you're of the larger persuasion, maybe not. Also, I'm sure the cabin quality, whilst decent, would be a step down from an Audi. You might get an RS Edition for that money, though you'd be better off with the standard model, with low, low mileage and getting the Mountune work done separately - the 375 kit is about £1k fitted and mapped.

M140?
This, in comfort mode they are great motorway cars. I would say significantly better at doing the daily driver thing than the A45, Focus RS etc.i must be getting old as for me comfort would be a volvo with air suspension
