What VPN Service do you use?

Not going in to the possibly nefarious reasons for wanting a VPN service. I'm interested in anonymity given by using a VPN.

There seem to now be 100s of different offerings, reviews from places like TorrentFreak (https://torrentfreak.com/which-vpn-services-keep-you-anonymous-in-2019/) etc seem to point a range of different supplied (nord et al).

One thing I would say is take whatever anonymous PR the VPN says with a pinch of salt. They know what you are doing. They might sell that data elsewhere. Avoid the free ones as nothing is ever free on the internet smile

I've gone for a trial with Private Internet Access (PIA) they seem to get some cracking reviews.

Yep. Nord is great for regular ‘hide my ass’ users.

I use NordVpn but really just for geographical as opposed to hiding myself. From that perspective it appears to change the IPs enough that iPlayer and others do not learn them and block that they are VPNs.

PIA has been rock solid for me with great speeds. I have it connected at router level and it just sits maintaining a connection for months at a time without issue. Can’t say how fast it would go but it saturates my 70Mbps all day long.

Tried them all, the website that has banned me knows it's me and blanks my registration whether my IP is in Harwich, Hepplethwaite, or Hawick..

I think the bas tards must have me followed.
