Race Against Dementia - Sir Jackie Stewart

I have recently been involved with some of the efforts behind this great charity and wanted to share it with some of the people on PH boards as it is aligned with a lot of the motoring community.
Here is a quote from the RAD website (https://www.raceagainstdementia.com):
"Today, 50 million people around the world have dementia. Unless a cure is found, one in three people born today will get dementia in their lifetime. A new person develops dementia every three seconds. This crisis cannot continue.
Founded by Formula 1 racing legend Sir Jackie Stewart, Race Against Dementia is driven to raise money to fund breakthrough and innovative dementia research."
Sir Jackie Stewart is pushing for a step-change in the way this ailment is researched and treated by channeling some of the technologically progressive culture of Formula 1. This type of publicity has been great to see as, like more and more people, I have witnessed the assault dementia carries out on someone and don't think it is talked about enough among people or at the highest levels of news and media.
They are planning to host a round of 2 hour endurance races at Larkhall Circuit in Sir Jackie's home country to promote and raise money for the charity (https://larkhallcircuit.com/raceagainstdementia-registration/).
Even if you can't make it to a race event, the charity is something that needs to be spread by word of mouth as it seems like a silent epidemic currently.
