Fancy Plates. Com ?

Anyone here ever dealt with this Company? I put an order in for a set of Plates over 3 weeks ago and still nothing. Keep ringing them up to be told a set is in the post with a guaranteed delivery date.Am I being conned? Peter

Many times. I recall once needing to ring them to ask where an order was. They had lost the order. No problem they just took details over the phone and had the plates out to me that day.

I've done that 3 times already. Was promised delivery by 12 today but, once more, no plates. Will not be recommending them to anyone in future.

Very unusual. I have used them 9 or 10 times and they have always impressed me. I'm sure it's just an unfortunate set of circumstances.

Got my plates in 1 - 2 weeks from placing the order online..

Though they're based in Ireland (which means you don't have to prove ownership of the car etc.) they have an 0208 contact phone number. I called it on Tuesday to ask for a cost and it's a dead number.

I ended up getting a back-lit rear plate for the car from Craigs Plates- £20 and only took two days.
Recommended.

Three times using standard UK plate fonts. No problems. I don't think they are out to rip you off.

Their website says they are not taking any more orders to clear order backlog...

I got a set of plates from them a couple of months ago, the backing has separated on them already, do you think I should ask for a replacement plate?

excellent delivery, 4 days from ordering AND it was xmas. They even e-mailed a minor query to clarify the order. And the plates are quality!

Mine are bog standard with the manufacturers(sp??) name on them, not spammed up and much much cheaper than going to the porsche dealer.

I have used them several times in the past BUT put an order in about 3 wks ago and also have not received anything. I tried phoning on Thurs and Fri and they were engaged permanently all day!!

As I absolutely need the plates I went to Halfords yesterday with log book and driving licence, and got the new plates no problem. There must be something going on, but they certainly haven't kept to their normal good service!!

Maybe it is a small company and one or two of the people who actually makes the plates have gone on holiday for a few weeks?
