After 3 years of getting engine sorted and removing all noises , the dash is rattling . Appears it’s loose ?

How and where do you access the top to tighten / secure it

Thanks

Not that I'm going to be able to solve the problem but what do you mean by "dash" - the instrument pod, the Ambla or leather covered bit under the windscreen, the lower bit trimmed in carpet, the radio pod ?

the total trim across under the windscreen ... the complete top is loose on one side

The dash top is held in by 2 bolts - one at each end, towards the front of the dash. Access is a pain in the neck, literally, as it's up above the long aluminium bar that goes across. If you stick your head in the passenger footwell and look up you should be able to see either a bolt, or a square hole that the bolt goes through (then look for the same on the driver's side).

Clear photos within that thread! ^^.

My 2 (cents) worth is the bolt removal at each end of dash top roll is made simpler by undoing the 2 off c/sunk machine screws that secure 'the shelf' to the alloy brackets at each end - - allows a bit more 'give' to get a 1/4" socket onto the hold-down bolts.
