I am sure there are some weird and wonderful vehicles on here being used to transport bikes around.

Even if it is just shoved in the back of a Mondeo, wheels on, post up your pics.

Here's mine, Santa Cruz Nomad C, Halfords rack, Z4, ready for a lads weekend on Dartmoor. Not sure how much riding there will actually be given my group of friends. drink

Extra first and last duathlon/triathlon leg getting it in and out....

To be fair I do now take both wheels off so the roof will close.

Have we met? That's exactly how mine gets shipped around the place...

The bike is a mid 1990s Cannondale Backroads, and the tent is even older, being a Vango Force 10 put together from several that were slung in a skip. One of the fabric sections is from the 1980s.

The bed has load securing points, so you could put a bike lock through one of those and the frame, wheels, etc to keep it secure. Though I personally am not too worried about that happening, but probably worth it in a pub car park etc.

Just bung it in the back of the tractor! I think I will get a rack though, bike gets pretty muddy in winter.

This

And one of these, normally.

I’ll use the car in an emergency, but the train is a whole lot easier normally.

This is our medium height, medium wheel base Transit. Originally a 12 seater mini bus, we’ve removed two rows of seats to create a large cargo area for the bikes.

We use a BikeStow bike rack for securing the bikes inside the van.

Recent road trip to Ennis in Ireland, for the junior Tour of Ireland.

Off topic, but it turns out that Ennis is the ancestral home of Muhammed Ali. Who knew?

Was the mountain bike on this day. Goes in the boot sometimes too. Sometimes has the road bike or the cross bike in its place.

My highly practical vehicle. Bike does actually go in the boot if you remove the seatpost which is a bonus.
