Z3 Very intermittant non start

Can anybody help? i have a problem with a BMW Z3 it will ocassionally not start i have traced this to a fuel problem ( there is no fuel pressure intermitantly ) i want to check that the fuel pump is getting power does anybody know how to gain access to the fuel pump? The car has had a new fuel pump relay but this anoying fault still exsists! i do suspect the fule pump? any help would be appreciated!!

You could check the current at the fuse board?
