Lose of power

Need some help with my vauxhall insignia 2.0lt diesel 2010, had a split intercooler hose so replaced it and the boost reg but still no power will rev to 2500 rpm but will only get about 30 - 35mph,i have a hand held code reader but when I clear the service engine light it comes back on, any help welcomed

So what code is it coming up with?

As you say it comes straight back, then you haven't cleared the issue.
