An apology....
Discussion
First of all, this is required for statements I posted in December 2004 concerning a friend who had an unfortunate accident is his Exige S2:
Without going into great details to explain why I had gone into great lengths to post statements that have greatly exaggerated his accident, we are no longer in contact as friends and after what is construed as character assasination I don't expect this would change, however if you are reading this, and to all concerned who are affected by this, I'm very sorry.
While the car concerned (S2 Exige - Chrome Orange) did have an accident, the extent of the damage was greatly exaggerated and also to warn anyone not to purachse this car as it was extensibly damaged. Not only that, I also needlessly exposed his personal details which now in hindsight was ill-advised and have no option but to put my hands up and admit this was a dispicable act beyond belief. I have come to the realisation that I thought just because something posted on the internet can be taken with a pinch of salt and thought of nothing but I was wrong. And for that, I will take this opportunity to retract the following damaging statement made:
I forwarn others to not avoid the purchase of this vehicle in the Edinburgh area as it was the subject of a bad accident - this is factually incorrect, it was only very minor damaged.
There was reasons behind my decision to post but (you can call it a falling out if you may), I do not wish to elaborate any further other than to set the record straight.
I realised if I put myself in his shoes, I would'nt like to be subject to the same treatment and for that please accept my sincere apology.

That sounds like the type of appology that you've been forced into by the threat of an impending legal action.
Keep us posted if it does you any good.
A brief look at your previous posts rekindles the whole thing which I guess was not your intention. Makes interesting reading though - thanks, not seen it before!!
