I use several apps and web sites to track O/H's Chesterfield to Sheffield commuter trains, they help me to figure out when to leave home to pick her up from the station.

Raildar is very useful except it doesn't show trains in the immediate area of Sheffield. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Not sure what feeds Raildar, just checked CCF and there's plenty of services in Sheffield area as expected.

Just checked Milton Keynes Central on Raildar vs CCF and not all trains are showing up on Raildar (passenger services)

Thanks, it's not just me then. Is more accurate real time train mapping available?

We're suffering a bit of a Zombie apocalypse at the minute, things are bit chaotic, not much news getting out: I was in two minds whether to put my black bin out. Rail spoke person on Look North said things should be back to normal by the weekend.

It takes about 15 mins journey, does it need to be that accurate? wink

You'd be surprised how much a train can be delayed in a 15 minute journey. 2 hours five minutes is the record so far.

You're welcome. I like Raildar, it's also good for a bit of basic route learning/refreshing but Traksy is the go to App, On more than one occassion (I'm a train driver btw) when the signaller has held me somewhere and I ask for an explanation an he says conflicting traffic, I say nothing showing on Traksy, he'll usually gumble and pull the signal off, they don't like it haha

Thanks again, I live quite near the Bury St Eds - Ipswich line and it's good to see what is rumbling past and where they are all going!
