Can I add to unused child SIPP via carry forward?
Discussion
I have read
“If you paid in less than your annual allowance in any of the past three tax years you can carry forward the unused allowance, as long as you had a SIPP or other pension in place for each of the three years and your total contributions don't exceed your current earnings.”
& similar etc so I think I understand as an adult how it works.
But can I add funds to previous years child SIPP for my daughter? I paid in less than the max for each year. (Ie less than £3600 total) I started the sipp March 2017 so still within 3 years of the first year. Will it still attract the tax relief top up?
