I have noticed that Trust Pilot keeps on removing critical reviews of user who when the organisation/service provider concerned makes a complaint

I know one firm who provide very shoddy service who are very quick to complain to trust pilot and get reviews removed citing either that the 'customer does not exist' or that it breaches their guidelines' bot of of which are false,on top of it they get staff to write their own reviews praising their services which can be seen in the style of writing and the words and language used.

If Trus Pilot is deleting bad reviews like that and not even bothering to clarify with the person who wrote the review then how can it be a neutral site?

I wonder if anyone else here noticed it too?

My energy supplier is Outfox the Market and their a shower of st and delete reams of reviews that are less than 4 stars. People who have had their review deleted post the pictures and detail up in a facebook group for all to see, and its basically made me never trust those sort of sites again!

I thought this was pretty widely known? Most of these big review sites do it, its how they make a decent chunk of their money. You can't trust a word you read on them.

My experience as someone who manages a TrustPilot is the opposite. We've had a review from someone who has never used our service, but who has a disagreement with a sister company of one of our partners.

I asked TrustPilot to review it, they did and upheld it - even though it's evidently nothing to do with us.
