I've recently noticed the idle speed increasing after the engine warms up, which I've managed to narrow down to a vacuum leak where the stepper motor housing is attached to the plenum. Im running an ACT twin carbon plenum, with the stepper housing transferred from the original plenum.

Just wanted to check whether there should be a gasket for the stepper housing, There wasn't one installed on the original l plenum so I just used gasket maker.

It's does have a gasket, but using a decent gasket sealer should be good enough

I had a gasket between the plenum and the stepper housing. When I rebuilt the plenum I replaced this gasket with a new one from a TVR parts supplier.

Here's a photo before, you can see the old gasket. (93' pre-serp)
