Hoping for some advice on the below
It’s a small hole which has formed on the crease line of my R107 hood...
Genuine hood and canvas is in great shape for 31 years old so i’d like to repair if possible...
Can the window itself be swapped out/stitched in again?
Are there any patches/glues which would seal it up while still allowing the piece to fold away??

I have an r129, the side windows always suffer, it's the awkward way the hood folds.

I had mine replaced, but although the repairer was recommended it was never satisfactory. Adjustment of the finished hood seemed too tight, they split again (down the seam) the job was redone, and split again 12 months later. The frabic of the hood was now suffering so I had the whole lot replaced. I wish I'd done that in the 1st place rather than bugger about. Lesson learned.

Eta regard that cabrio doc stuff as a temporary repair at best.
