Can’t see a thread for this so thought I’d start one.

Marquez has just done the most amazing couple of laps in the wet on slicks. First flying lap was 2.3 secs slower than P1 on wets, second lap 1.3 secs faster, 3rd lap 1.4 secs faster, despite it starting to rain quite heavily. He’s 2.5 seconds faster than P2.

No matter what you think of him, he is absolutely incredible.

Miller was out following him too, did incredibly well to get a time and then pushed a bit too hard on that last lap and binned it. Shows you the massive gulf between MM and everyone else in terms of testicle size

Nice to see Crutchlow playing along nicely with his team-mate :-)

Does he deserve a HRC bike, No! Ha ha!

The rain stopped just before Qualifying 1 and was drying quickly. Sat at the track we could see a dry line developing before Quali 2 and there was no standing water that we could see. We were expecting a few to try slicks before the end. Then in the last couple of minutes it started raining on the last 2 corners but was still dry everywhere else. MM times it perfectly for slicks. Another 5 minutes and it was raining (again) over the whole track.

First time here, it's like Spa, can be dry one side of the track and raining the other.

Zarco has been impressive all weekend.

Rossi's bike(s) sounding very different to Mavericks and everyone else. Down at the hairpin it is backfiring in the middle of the corner. Can only assume he has a different mapping to Maverick

Steven Odendaal's save in Moto2 FP3, then holding onto his bike (can't find a video that isn't slow motion on YT).

Nigerian streams are terrible today, can't get any to last more than 10 minutes before they quit, no real sport on anywhere else, no idea what is going on, very frustrating!

Might just leave it and watch the cricket, this is impossible to enjoy

It was dry in a lot of parts on the straights, but very wet in quite a few corners and tricky as hell when you consider that it was transitioning from dry to damp to soaking wet as you entered and rode through a corner. What Marquez did was nothing short of miraculous. Miller tried slicks and was still 2.5 secs slower before he fell off.

Another cracking display from AM. Looked unstoppable.

Just started raining at turn 7 though, hopefully just a passing shower before the main event starts....

Lowes and Booth Amos, both should be duped quite honestly, they crash nearly every weekend, Rumours are that Bulega has already signed fro Gresini, can't see anywhere for Lowes and quite honestly does not deserve a ride in Moto2 on this form, One lap pace but then every week seems to just fall back through the field, clearly no confidence and no idea how to set the thing up.

A Maq making Moto2 nearly as dull as GP to be honest

Absolutely.

All this fannying around is ridiculous, let the teams make their tyre choice and get them out on track.

You take your chances, you ride to the conditions, there are winners and losers.

This is farcical now.

You'd think we didn't have wet/inters available, nor the option of flag to flag racing and spare bikes!

Its damp at the start but absolutely dry beyond the first few corners.
This is worse than when F1 panic over a wet start FFS!

The black bmw will need a pitstop soon, he's done loads of laps!

And you all bh at me when I say GP with this bloke winning is boring?

This has been a crap weekend for racing, Moto 3 was OK, 2 was a total waste of time and this?

He is waiting for the soft tyre, looking after it, then he will go with 4 to go!
