After finishing putting front and rear red poly bushes in this weekend.

The car feels transformed but the fronts were delaminated and had started moving under load and the rears were starting to get rubber rot (probably original).

The rear of the car feels more planted and the car has a crisper turn in.
The mid corner bump steer and shake has gone.

Now for some new tyres and springs and shocks....

I get mine back on Friday (hopefully) after having poly bushes fitted at Offords.......

can't wait to see what the transformation is going to be..... ...looking forward to it now based on your post

My bushes at the the front were wishbones on chassis, and the rears were not that far behind......


Been with out my car two weekends now (three really cos was off on Friday and Today Bank Holiday makes another weekend in my book )

where did you get the bushes?
Which brand/type did you get?
How much?

This is an upgrade I'm planning on, but for various reasons it is likely to be a winter job.

Ours handled like a pig till we aligned it at TMS, poly bushed it at Offord, checked wheel balance and set the right pressures.
These cars are very, very sensitive to all of the above and, if set up properly, handle sublimely

play in the steering u/j can be an issue too
