Hi fellas,
I have just got 'round to posting some pics from Spa last week.
It was a top trip. I definitely want to go again next year. Spa is a great circuit, somewhat intimidating the first time you drive there. Eau Rouge is buttock-clenching. The day at the Ring was pretty mad but I hope to return on a quiet day (e.g. RMA) and with lots of laps on GT4 under my belt!!
Silverline were doing great business as you might expect:
This mad device belonged to a Scottish chap called Mark. It has carbon wing extensions and his lap times were the same as JC's. I watched them lap together, great stuff.
I think the Titanic lads will soon swap their GT3 RSs like these:
And buy the much cheaper Cup cars like this one:
The mighty Eau Rouge with a terrible driver on it:
My old banger:
Check out the backdrop in this pic:
I stayed with the Scottish lads in this hotel, here's the car park......we drank a few ales:
And the petrol station in Spa, they must do a great trade:

That's an RTS-3 I believe, like this one
Fantastic pics JS, many thanks for sharing the experience.

You drank a few ales knowing that bunch you're lucky you weren't breathalised going onto track!!! When gungho gordon complains about lack of grip at the rear end he ain't talking about his suspension you know
His "rear end" was all over the place I can tell you. He kept blaming this on crap Penske dampers, but the big man just has a dodgy arse.

Nice pics Johnny.
Didn't get any of my arse end action at La source did you ???
No mate, but of course it was a privilege to see you "show boating" in your duel with the other yellow GT3. Obviously you meant to get it out of shape, that's what I told the others watching you anyway!

But of course i meant to have had the back end out like that
JS - those are superb pics - particularly liked the one showing the re-worked Bus Stop in the background.
Which camera was used ?
RMA are doing Spa June 6/7th if you're interested.
I think many of you guys in GT3s/GT3RSs run P Zero Corsas don't you ? I've just fitted them to the Tuscan but haven't yet had chance to get the car out on track. Would be interested to receive comments, positive or otherwise on Corsas. Coincidentally Ian at Silverline sold them to me !

I have gone to Corsa's from Cups on my GT3, the change was in the hope of a more longivity to the tyre, but at a very minor detrement to the tyre performance (dry).
Well, must admit, they are hardly going to last any longer than the cups did, as i was told that they need changing when the tread starts goind on the edges(which seems to be well before the rest of the tyre).
They also seem to go off quicker than cups on a hot track. It would only take 3-4 hot laps at Spa before the arse end became to movable for comfort. where as my opinion of Cups was the hotter the better (within reason)
I think they are better suited for spring/autumn track work when track temperatures are much lower.
I think the Cups will be better for the summer months.
Just my 0.02p from my albeit limited experience so far.
G.
