New Rider, New Retro Bike Help...
Discussion
Hi All, This is my first time posting here, so apologies that this has probably been covered before.
However, much of the info I can find is from 2015-2016 which is long time in some of the younger bike brands that are ~10 years old so advice may be quite out of date already. As a new rider who has just passed CBT who would like to get into riding just for fun on the odd day, currently limitd to a 125cc.
I'm drawn to the Mutt mongrel / Mutt Hilts / Brixton 125 / Herald Classic 125 and others in this retro look, but not too expensive level. Knowing that a lot of these are based on the same Chinese base models and altered to meet the UK brands own requirements (some with upgraded parts) - does anyone have some up to date experience of the current Euro 4 spec models and experience running one of these bikes for 2-3 years? I'm interested in how well the finish lasts, the reliability, ease of maintenance etc... Good Bad & Ugly !
Thanks in advance, Trevor.
