I’m not sure how, but I’ve managed to convince my boss it’s a good idea to buy the Rapide S AMR. He’s done his man maths impeccably and foolishly agrees with me. What’s the view on this car and residuals? Such a stunning car

Great choice - looks fantastic . Saw one at Works and the interior is as good as the exterior . Well done brilliant negotiation .

Yes, TBH I’ve never been the biggest fan of the Rapide: the styling just didn’t seem to translate so well for me but with this AMR detailing it’s just too much to resist.

Do we think they will do deals on these cars or because it’s a limited run, no go?

I always loved the Rapide concept which unveiled before the production version. The production version quite looked like the concept which was a shame. But this AMR gets quite close to that concept which looked so good.

IF this is a car sat in a dealer showroom ready for sale as appears to be the case (that you can possible confirm ?) then I'd be staggered if there wasn't a deal to be done.

In the last week my local dealer has emailed fliers offering £20k dealer contribution against a PCP deal on a DB11 and £10k off a Vantage, I wouldn't expect these things to be flying out the showroom but it appears times are a little hard for some AM dealers so I'd be shocked if there wasn't some movement on an 'in stock' car. scratchchin

Ah, it’s Monopoly: if it were located at old Kent road, my boss would be quids in?

Have a ring around. I'm pretty certain every dealer will have one knocking around. yes Certainly Brum and Bristol have one.

LOL - speaking personally, whenever I have been in there they kind of pay me lip service but don't seem interested in engaging in a sensible discussion - last example was in October last year when they had a model I was interested in at their storage but wouldn't let me see it. A different garage took me to their storage to see their model and i put the deposit down.

Perhaps I shouldn't have gone in my Monopoly wellies, and instead should have used my monopoly top hat biglaugh

hence I have bought from two other dealers where I could 'cut' a deal.

All personal experience and I realise others may have had better experience.
