lol , yes i asked on supercars general and the DBS has been slated.
Ha Ha, yes looks like it.There are a lot of people on there with first hand experience of a £200k supercar that's only been on sale for 5 months. All I can guess is that they think you mean the DBS, and not the DBS Superleggera. I have to admit that's what I thought when I first read the title.

The F12s seem to be holding their value better than the DBS. I looked at an F12 before going for my Vanquish S. The binnacle leather was peeling up from being on display in hot sun which wasn’t impressive. Looked and sounded great though.
Absolutely a 2015/6 F12 or 2019 DBS sl.Test drove the new DBSS, and own the previous model DBS.
Did not test drive the F812 or F12 (yet), but when it would concern the latest of both brands, I think I would skip the DBSS (see my remarks here https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... and test drive the F812, but probably go for a new Continental GT(C), much more dynamic than the previous GT(C), and interior, transmission and tech on the right level for such a car.
When it would concern the previous (older) models, I would skip the GT(C), and go for a (manual!) DBS (as I did, I would not even trade it in for a new DBSS at the moment, see my earlier remarks).

What I love about The Car Guys is their honesty. They don't seem to be in the pocket of any of the manufacturers like a lot of other You Tubers, who never seem to give a bad review of anything!
It was interesting to see The Car Guys mention the plastic grill on the Bentley and the interior bits that broke whilst they had it (2 days I think). Not great for such an expensive car. Other reviews I'd seen where glowing, but they were done by people who'd been invited on the launch and put up in 5 start hotels etc.
I bet the dealer that lent the car to The Car Guys got a right roasting from Bentley

In one of Jeremy Clarkson's interviews, he explained about becoming more outspoken in his car reviews. It happened when he began to be too busy to attend new car launches. Was no longer tempted by 'free' 1st class flights to exotic locations and staying 'free' in 5 star hotels.
Are we all being duped ?
