I assume it's a 4.2

In that case go to the local TVR dealer and get the solid front discs rather than the drilled ones. About 120 quid each roughly.

I need new ones for mine too and plan on getting the solid ones from my local TVR place. Have a friend with a Tuscan who said don't buy the drilled ones - they crack where the holes are.

That was the same reason i was given.

The rears, you have no choice but to get the drilled as they apparently don't do the solid ones any more. I figured that on the rear it's probably not so bad as they will take a lot less abuse than the fronts.

gary has my brake kit fitted, it's by BG Developments but it's my kit as i supplied the hubs, calipers etc for them to do the measurements off.

it's blinking expensive though cos you have to get new alloy bells machined up for the kit .. the std 4.2 has one piece front discs.

easiest route is just to use the factory items, but if you're mental on the track you need something of higher quality than the std factory items.

Noticed your car is for sale after le mans (again) gary .. how many years has it been for sale now?

car will be up for sale when I get from le man had to withdraw it last because the new engine that was fitted had a bad oil leak that peninsula could not fix due to internall problems and after many phone calls tvr had to rebuild it free of charge, it has now been run in so I might as well use it for le mans.

they restored my faith in car mechanics/dealers not like some out there a jools
