cigarette lighter

i need to fit a cigarette lighter to charge mobile phone and run tom tom ,is there a wiring outlet on the loom and does anyone know where it is as i have spent the last hour on my head trying to find it and now i feel sick :hurl:

Yes
It is supplied from fuse 5.
It is termination 55 on your circuit diagram and sits somewhere from centre dash to nearside. I think it was quite long. You're looking for heavy gauge Purple and black wires with a light gauge red/black which is to back-light the socket at night.

I ran mine back to a 4 gang socket strip and I still keep finding more things I want to plug into it.

My 2 gang socket is mounted on the alloy panel under the aircon unit.

A Google search from here in the UK found this which is in NY state near Albany. It was 3rd on the list so I'm sure you will find others.
Scroll down the page and they offer a 3 in 1. I think the one I have is 4 or 5.

I've mounted mine underneath alongside the A/C just above passenger’s legs.
