Problems ??

the VH chassis are identical except for the wheelbase!
I think the shock absorber bodies are the same...
why didn't you choose this?

I did look at them but the Nitrons are too track bias. I’m looking for great ride quality and great suspension control, it should make it the perfect car particularly as it’s a manual

David Appleby fitted Nitrons to my Vantage, the front shocks had gone. I told James I didnt want a hard setup. He adjusted them for maximum comfort and they are perfect. They really come into their own when pressing on over a poorly surfaced road. Really flattens out the lumps and bumps but still very supple.

Thanks, I know Dave and James, they were Exe-TC dealers in the past. The reason for going with Exe-TC is they have developed new components for a road dampers following the work they’ve done on the Singer DLS

ok but at what price please?
the ADS suspension on my DBS is really not up to the task!
especially the back, not enough kept in rebound.

Did you have ADS on your car?

The Vantage damper bodies are a lot shorter than those on the DBS. You will not be able to install them on the DBS without some severe lowering issues. See here for the difference in length, DBS at the top, Vantage below.

Thanks! That's a great help. I'll remove mine and use them as patterns

All that's needed then is a code out of the ADC
