Do you know what is actually catching? On mine the pin on the door is slightly too long so rubs (more so when warm) on the fibreglass under the catch, if that makes sense.

Mine's the same. I once asked my dealer to sort it and they came up with the usual "lubricated door mechanism" on the invoice. Went to drive the car away but the problem was still there!

Without knowing what it is that forces the door open in the first place, I don't know what the solution is. Are the hinges spring-loaded or does the locking mechanism actively push the door away? (I suspect the latter.)

Hi Fella's had the same problem on my Tusc.

It's the door mechanism that needs adjusting. I think it is pushed by a solenoid. The silver thing in the door recess with the allen key bolts. I think it was not alligned correctly Take it back to the dealer they should be able to sort it in 5 mins. Mine pops out fine now.

Good luck

The problem is usually the door dropping on its hinges slightly,I have had the door adjusted several times on mine and for a while it opens ok then goes back to requireing a pull as you push the button. Only had this problem on the drivers door not the passenger one.

Exactly the same issue on my passenger door side, and taking it in tomorrow for this/other items. Will update here if I get told the cause!

My dealer tells me that the door is pushed away by a combination of the rubber seal and the angle of the window (which gets compressed laterally when the door is shut).

I had the seal replaced and the window adjusted. Everything is now fine.

Importantly, there were some shims fitted to the upper hinge which were compromising the door's performance (not to mention its leak-proof capability). These were removed as part of the job.

Why would you want to adjust that? It only adds to the whole experience when your door suddenly slams open at 165mph+ and then refuses to close unless you come to a total standstill...

As far as I am concerned, this is one of my favourite features and one of the few niggles I would never fix!
