After 50k starter motor gone chips, have manet marvelli just about read sticker type m76r (1.4) date 33 -92 lasted well , thinking of sticking with same or is there something better it's not so appealing lying on the floor as I get older all ideas welcome

The starter motor type is NAD 101490. Try Paddock Spares, you should be able to get a Britpart unit for approx £70. I replaced mine last week after researching the options on PH

As for getting it out, I used a snakecam to locate my Allen socket into the top bolt. Oh and don't forget to disconnect the battery

My experience of stpart on the Landy is try elsewhere. Bearmach or similar.
