2010 -2013 VW SCIROCCO R DSG

Looking at buying a DSG Scirocco R with about 60,000 miles 0n the clock, what do i need to look out for?
I know to make sure the belt and water pump have been changed and also make sure its had a DSG service, is there anything else majorly to look out for?
My understanding is these engines are pretty robust along with the gearbox as well?
Any help would be appreciated.

Take it for a good drive before committing. DSG isn't for everyone!
Make sure the gearbox shifts fine and is okay during your normal operation. You don't want to be buying someone else's problem when it comes to DSG.
It may be a tad clunky until it has warmed up, that has been my experience with the 2 DSG cars I have owned before. It should be as smooth as silk when warmed up though, you do notice how smooth they shift gears when you change back to a regular auto!

I'd say make sure the service history is well up to date. It's a performance car remember, performance cars don't like intermittent servicing or poundshop grade components. You seem to have an idea about the DSG stuff, just don't get blinded and make sure the rest of the service history is there.
