Quick decision: Peugeot 308 vs Giulietta

So, apparently the locksmith messed up the ECU of the Yaris I hoped to drive for a few more months (I didn't know that was possible), and replacements would be more than the car's value.
I was looking for something 3,000-4,500, at most 10 years old, less than 80-70k miles, and very local, so I see it, drive it, and buy it as quick as possible, since I will be soon out of a ride.
The two options that I liked the most were these:
Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.6 JTDM-2 Veloce 105 BHP

2011, 64k miles, £3,995, I liked it a lot, but it has a pretty ugly rust spot by the badge on the trunk
Peugeot 308 1.6 VTi Sportium (Is "sportium" really a trim?)

2010, 35k miles, £3,295 looks tidy, the boot is bigger, the engine is more powerful, but, well, it is a white Peugeot, not a blue Alfa...
And then there is potentially this
Ford Fiesta 1.6 Titanium 3dr

2010, 35k miles, £4,495. I still haven't seen it in the metal. Looks really neat, but, is it better than the 308?
Any opinions?

The Fiesta looks expensive for what it is. Perhaps it's actually one of those little Peaches ( more fruit ) that's always been fussed over, kept in a garage and been read a story before it's tucked in at night. You would need to go and see it to make sure. Would you continue to look after it like that? If not then the premium that you have paid for its condition would soon be lost.
The Peugeot looks good value. Again you would need to go and see it to make sure of its condition. If it's in acceptable condition then it would be the best value purchase of the three.
The Alfa is an Alfa isn't it. They shouldn't be rusty though, but if that cosmetic fault is the worst thing about it and you have an itch to scratch then go and see what it's like ( you notice a common theme! ) and then decide. You could get around all 3 of those dealers in an afternoon.
The Fiesta looks expensive for what it is. The Fiesta is the sensible option it looks very clean, can't see any issues other than the petrol flap is either open and needs pushed or isn't closing properly but hardly a big deal. It looks a tad strong but sure there would be room for manoeuvre.
Wouldn't touch the Pug with a barge pole, I feel I can say that having owned a few back in the day!
The Alfa is an interesting wild card and the preferable choice. It would be about £125/150 to get that rust fixed on the cheap or £250 to get it done properly. Its either rusting because of the badge / boot open wearing against the paint or it maybe looks like its had some paint on the boot before indicating some damage but very hard to tell from the pics. Alfa had a bit of an issue with paint defects around that year.........

Thank you for your opinions: I guess I sort of wanted an excuse not to the get the 308, which seemed the more sensible option.
Whoever my car in the end did not die, so I will be getting something more sensible with a higher budget in a few month's time, instead of buying in a panic whatever I could see during my lunch break, and pay with the cash I had in my pocket and a loan I could get approved in minutes.
