Presumably they will reach 999 eventually and then the world will end.

Or, like the Morris Minor, we could have a Porsche 1000.

It ends with the 992.2 in 2026 then all 911s will be electric and known by E numbers. Eg. E28, E30, E46. Oh wait.... think soneone else already doing that!

Weren't the 993 and 996 numbers chosen to reflect the years when those cars started development? (1993 & 1996 respectively)
