Any recommendations for a good cheap/ish outdoor bike cover? one that's proven itself in hurricane/very windy conditions, like the winds we've had today?
My usual go to is the under £10 silver covers that you always see on ebay, which're good for around six months. they always end up cracking during the summer months and rip under windy conditions, ie today.

Just ordered a Favoto Waterproof Motorcycle Cover XXL for a massive £14.99!

Erm, it's got a lifetime guarantee...….

I think you are chasing a Unicorn. I have a very good outdoor cover that keeps the bike dry, doesn't split or tear in wind. But it was £47.99

Could be right. The only difference, apart from the silvery bit only being on the inside, is they have security chain hoops for the front wheel and they completely cover both bikes, which the others didn't, even though they were the same size!

What material is yours made of?
