Joining Car Forums, Facebook Groups, Weird Rules / Questions

I understand that forums / FB Groups have to have some way to reduce Spam but I've just tried to join a couple and was asked:

What would your theme song be ?

What noise does an RX7 make ?

On another it forced you to make two posts on an "introductions" page before you could do anything else

I'm joining a car forum to talk about cars, not wanting to take long hot baths together, I don't give a crap what your name is, what sex / religion / nationality you are, nor what your dog is called.

Is that really unusual ?

To answer the first question - I went with "WTF" on the basis that if that offended them, then I'd save everyone time.

I don't think the questions thing is tooooo unreasonable, in that, any auto-spam bots will be easily weeded out by these questions

I'd thing anything vaguely music related to the first one would probably see you in good stead.

But I haven't seen the "introductions" page thing before that's a new one on me.

Joining Abarth forum was quite a challenge. A lot of questions I had to look up answers for, because I simply don't care about scorpion logo, I don't know how many legs or heads it has, etc. I just wanted to read about Abarth.
