New clutch slipping in first - K1200S
Discussion
Hi all
Quick question please. I've just had a new clutch fitted on my 2007 BMW K1200S. I've given it a first decent length ride today commuting to work and noticed that in slow traffic / filtering when it's necessary to have the clutch partially engaged something is slipping / not engaging; it sounds like the plates are spinning but not gripping. All other gears seem fine. It's done less than 50 miles since the clutch was installed.
I know the answer is to take it back to the garage that did the work and get them to check it out and I'll ring them first thing in the morning when they're open. In the meantime, can someone give me some reassurance that this is just a new clutch "bedding in" and / or that it's something which can be resolved by some easy adjustments?
Thanks!

Sorry, I missed this when originally posted. Did you take it back? What was the outcome?
It's definitely NOT just a new clutch bedding in! If something is slipping then something is not right!
Good advice on the BMW K range can be found at www.eurokclub.bike Definitely worth signing up to if you've not done so already.
