The GFV on my wife’s car (2015 Z4 Sdrive 1.8, 42k Miles) is due next month. Obviously we can hand the car back, or make the GFV payment. I’m unsure what to do.

1. The GFV is £11500.
2. The car appears to be booking at £12600 for a PX, or £13450 for a private sale.

How reliable are these figures (AutoTrader)?

What other sources of info or advice can anyone offer? I’m happy to try and flip the car for some money or PX it, but i’d Need to be really sure of the value of the car.

I have also looked at WBAC and Parker’s and their figures are (broadly) in line with the above.

Thx

What's WBAC offer? There is your floor (if it's clean and straight).

£13k

It’s straight. But i’d knock off £500 for ‘miscellaneous damage’ that only WBAC can detect.

Drive it over to WBAC, pocket the £1.5K difference and let them sort out the finance - winner.
