This is driving me batty - can't create an advert
Discussion
What the hell is in my advert that is causing the filter to think it has an @ / HTML code / swearing in it?!!!!

I don't wish to sound like I am boasting, but this car is one of the best GTAs in the country. It is immaculate, both aesthetically and mechanically.
I've owned it since June 2013, during which time it has been rebuilt and restored to as new condition.
Initially, it was my daily drive but it became a 2nd car not long after I bought it.
It has the essential upgrades
Q2 limited slip diff
330mm brembo brakes
Bilstien B8 dampers matched with eibach springs.
18inch GT cloverleaf wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres all round
Stainless exhaust, with the factory cats intact, sounds mega.
It also has
bixenon projector headlights
Leather interior with heated seats, mirrors and windscreen washers
Air Con and Climate control
Traction Control with ABS EBD ESP
BOSE stereo
During the time I've owned it, it has too many new parts to list. Not because it needs them, in a lot of cases, just because they weren't perfect.
I've kept a running report going here on pistonheads. My user name is Zombie, so a search for Zombie Alfa 147 GTA should find it.
A highly regarded specialist has repainted it at considerable expense. The paintwork is near flawless. It has done very few miles since then.
As part of this work, the body shop went through the sills and floor pans repairing any corrosion. There wasn't much but the 147s and 156s etc are prone to it in this area and the plastic sills can hide looming issues.
After the repaint it had an extensive overhaul which included all new suspension arms and antiroll bar etc. Both the alternator and starter motor have been rebuilt as well.
Since then the car has been dry stored, used sparingly and only ever in the dry.
However, as you will be able to gather from the running report, I am in the process of changing the clutch and cam belt for new items but the work I am undertaking prior to the sale is far more extensive.
I'm also going to replace the heads with GTA heads I rebuilt in readiness for this job. These heads have been lightly skimmed and the valves replaced and reground as the exhaust valves can become burnt out at 100k miles resulting a slight loss in power.
New cam belt kit idlers, tensioner etc
The gearbox is going to be rebuilt as it appears to have a slight oil leak
New Power steering pump
New aircon pump
New air con radiator
New Clutch master cylinder. Not an easy job with the engine in situ
New clutch damper pipe. Again, an engine out job, although there's nothing wrong with the existing pipe
New aux belt and idlers
Moving to the interior, I'm going to replace the interior carpet with a new genuine Alfa item and a bunch of other bits and bobs.
It's recently had a new steering wheel, steering wheel control buttons, they wear and look ugly, with a revised part that doesn't wear out
I've replaced the screens inside the doors, the kick trims, etc.
I also have a new driver's seat base. Try finding a GTA that doesn't have a shabby looking drivers seat. The part simple isn't available anymore. My plan is to replace this as the foam is starting to sag a little.
This car was amazing before I started this final bit of work, it will be immaculate when it's finished which will be in a few weeks.
It's offered for sale with various spares available subject to negotiation including the original GTA teledial alloys, which come with half worn Pirelli p-zeros.
Anyone looking to buy a GTA will know these are skyrocketing in value and that this one has had the major, expensive, maintenance dealt with as part of the current rebuild.
I also think the MOT history for it speaks for itself.

Try removing the word "pistonheads"
Um, why is this a filter? Can you not advertise a car on pistonheads and use the word pistonheads in the advert? It's obvious that claiming best car rights on the site isn't acceptable, but saying "I've kept a running report on pistonheads" isn't allowed? For a car that's advertised on a website purporting to be about cars?
Seems a little unprofessional from PH staff to not even bother to explain to a user (of 11 years, I may add), why they can't use the site name in an advert they have grandfather rights on. Great material for CarGurus to review as to why new users are going to competitor sites like CarThrottle or Reddit.

IIRC it’s to stop phrases like “pistonheads approved car” and “will be delivered by Pistonheads shipping service”
Understandable, but for users with grandfather rights like the OP (not me), having been on the board longer than the Insignia has been produced, it seems a little unforgiving. Gassing Station | Website Feedback | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
