Van +/- £1500 w/2500kg+ Towing Capacity

Hi All,
Finding it really difficult to find info on vans towing weights.
I'm planning on picking up (if possible) a cheap sensible sized van which I can use as a daily with a 2500kg+ towing capacity. Ideal would be 3000kg+, but not sure they're out there. Not for a budget of circa £1500.
Currently use a D3, but am considering a D2 too (D3 needs to go). Needs to do 30+ MPG too (35-40 would be great).
Used to have a Renault Trafic and was a brilliant compact van, but only had a braked weight of 2000kg.
Anybody any thoughts?
