Date of first registration is October '74, perhaps he bought it after he had the Interceptor..?

He had that number on a Jensen Interceptor. He told the story of when he was having one of his heart attacks and he asked a passerby to drive him to hospital.

Apparently they guy stood there repeating you want me to drive a Jensen before EM got him to realise he was dying and to get in.

A lovely man by all accounts
