Z43.0si Coupe putting on Eibachs in London - will I regret?
Discussion
Im thinking of lowering my coupe as it just doesnt sit right.
H&R looks too low to me so was gonna go with the standard 30mm drop Eibachs
Currently I dont have any issues with speed bumps (unless going way too fast) and only occasionally ground out if coming out of a petrol station or driveway with a bad ramp angle....generally it is avoidable if you are careful. There are a LOT of speedbumps where I live, my commute to work probably takes in about 15.
Will I regret putting Eibachs on the car or will it just make me the sedate calm driver I should be???
Thanks

I have them fitted on mine (B12 kit + 19s) and I've had no problems driving around London.
I mean, they're still an absolute pain if they're a really awkward design but generally no issue's as long as you're not going fast.
Thankfully I live outside of London now, so i get the benefit of "more fun" the rest of the time and it was worth the trade off for me.
I've also added the H&R Arb's and then eventually added the H&R rear springs..so a bit of mish mash, but it works for me and I love the look.
If you're going to do it then i'd def check and refresh all the other bushes and wotnot depending on age / condition.

I also share another Z4M Coupe so am familiar with the M set up - it could definitely go a little lower but I find the M coupe pretty damn firm - are the Eibachs even more so???
I had a E82 135i with Birds suspension, and I found speed humps in London where I lived a challenge after that, and I wouldn't mind betting that my 135i wasn't then any lower than a standard Z4M......lowering a Londaon based Z4M further is a brave choice IMHO..!!I also went in a couple of 135i that had Eibachs fitted to standard M-Sport suspension, and they were bloody awful.......M-Sport dampers couldn't cope with the Eibach springs, so while pukka ///M dampers in the Z4M will be better as OEM, I bet you'll need to replace the dampers as well to match the Eibachs to get the best out of the springs. In my experience, OEM BMW dampers are poor, even ///M ones.
