I seem to be getting conflicting information about this on the internet - does anyone know if it is possible to fit a GT3 master cylinder on a 996 or 986 that is equipped with PSM, without the system throwing a hissy fit?

Currently have a suspected MC problem and would like to fit the larger item - if have PSM does not preclude this.

You know, if it's broken, upgrade it, and other such nonsense.

Yes it has been done from what i can tell. All the PSM system knows is pressure, not how it's generated. Some of the fittings are different sizes tho so you'll need to make up some of your own. I was going to do the same (GT3 m/c upgrade) but the above caught me out so i just fitted a new stock part. Mine is a C4 so has PSM.

I have since got hold of the custom pipe i need so might do this mod sometime in the future when i have decent access to a workshop again.
