Hi all.

I'm looking to get myself into track days. I've got my old Yaris T Sport which is still going to be road legal so not completely stipped out. I know you're thinking why a Yaris but I really didn't see the point in selling it for £500 when I could learn how to do track days with minimal cost.

Which tracks are good for complete novices around or near South Yorks? I don't mind driving for an hour but obviously the closer the better.

^^^ Wot 'e said, just make sure you have good brakes, new pads, fresh good fluid, a spare set & tools with you and enjoy/learn at your own pace.

Cheers. I'll take a look at that place.

Car won't be ready until next year as I have a couple of bits to buy but it's just something to learn in rather than spending a load of money on an EP3 or something especially not knowing what I'm doing.

As above Blyton is perfect, theres some other good circuits within a short ish distance too, Cadwll and Oulton but I'd say Blyton is a good first track, very forgiving

Blyton or Donington, not Cadwell or Oulton Park.
