Cash sat in account during brexit..
Discussion
I have a bit of cash, nothing crazy, a 5 figure sum sat in an instant saver earning nothing after i pulled it out of my HL S&S ISA to aid purchase of my next house. Turns out i did not need it and with the upcoming Brexit doom stories where have you put your savings? Funds in other countries? other currency or keeping cash in the bank to pick up some bargains?
I have a suitable amount in my 'emergency fund' account and a few quid in my current account which obviously gets topped up each month with my salary. So I don't really see much benefit in having this money sat here earning 0.25% in an instant saver.
What is your brexit proof strategy, if there is such a thing!
I have a few quid sat in my S&S ISA still, and have 75% of my allowance left for this year still, thinking about putting a chunk of it back in there and buying some funds which seem to be doing ok.
