Car paint question
Discussion
Hi All,
I had a bonnet repainted a while ago, I popped in to a car paint specialist who 'matched it' and supplied the body shop with the paint.
The car is solid black and at the time I didn't bother having the paint blended into the wings as there was no chipping on them. However, the paint match bothers me more than ever; there is a very light grey tint when looked at in sunlight on the the newly painted bonnet compared to the rest of the car.
What I'd like to know is, is this down to the colour match, not using original PPG paint, or the wrong primer/lacquer or just not blending the wings in?
Any help appreciated.
