Adaptive Damping

Hi ,
Is there anyone who has moved from a car with adaptive damping to one without who can share their experience?
I’m contemplating a change from a 2011 rapide with AD to a 2018 Rapide S without it.
The suspension on the S felt very good on my short test drive but I have enjoyed AD on the rapide.
Any advice from those who’ve experienced both would be much appreciated.
