Hi all, advice please: as above, I've just drained the oil tank in my 2 stroke Yamaha jet rib, and there was an inch of sea water at the bottom of it. The engine bay did get flooded and I worried this might have happened, so I added some oil to the fuel tank as well, so I could run it till I could get the boat out of the water, about 20 mins of running.
If I bleed the oil pump, will that be OK, or will the seawater have caused massive damage already? Engine seemed to be working fine, and still starts on the button..
Thanks in advance

Should be fine but if you don’t already know 2 strokes need a top end refresh (essentially a piston kit) a bit like 4 strokes need cambelt changes.

If you are near a top end refresh anyway you may want to bring it forward.
