Hi
Had my Manual DB7, Vantage for ten years now, but have gained a starting problem, have checked all the usual, battery, connections, start switch, but fairly convinced it is the clutch inhibit switch.

Need to move the vehicle from where it is located, can anyone help with a picture / diagram of its location and once found can it be bypassed, prior to a new switch arriving. Also fairly sure this will be a Ford part if anybody has found a replacement.

Many thanks

Andy

Didn’t know there was one on the Vantage. Wasn’t on the i6.

AMOC forum might be your best bet.

Hi

Yes, as you have to depress the clutch to activate the start switch. There are some threads regarding the issue on here, just nothing about being able to bypass the switch, so the car can be brought back to replace the switch.

Also the location would be handy, have found a parts diagram, only in black and white though, so not helpful on the wiring.

Cheers
