Surprised but not too much there's no metal footrest on 600LT (weight saving?).

I find it useful as "peace of mind" way of avoiding dirt on carpet.

Any idea where I can buy one (just flat plate) I can attach to the carpet through velcro straps?

eBay?

I picked up one for less than a £10. Velcro pads were found in the haberdashery box.

The only issue is keeping it firmly in place. Mine tends to slip when vacuuming around it so needs a firm press to reattach it to the carpet.

My dead-pedal space is alot slightly concave so the plate needed a bend. Other than that, the carpet is kept clean.

I'm at the opposite end of car garage ownership though (Fiesta ST). You may want to consider less of a bodge. wink

Thanks, well I was after some direct experience on Sportseries...before going wild with random eBay parts.

There isn’t one in 675LT either. Well there is a footrest, but it’s shaped under the carpet, not an aluminium plate. At first I thought it was missing but just what they are like.

Yes and carpet can get dirt and then painful to clean.

I am seriously thinking of buying an aftermarket one...
