I only ask, as this week alone, I’ve seen 4 1 series burnt out from the engine bay, not the same car as they’ve all been different colours, one was a LCi but the others where pre LCI.
There were a few fires from the defective EGR cooler on the N47 engined cars, so I guess that's possible. Even some of the recalled/fixed ones are having to be recalled again as the new parts are failing.
