I've just bought a used Boxster and I really need to keep costs down(i know!). I would love to go to an OPC or one of the big name Indy's but that isn't really an option. Doing work outside my house is out of the question too unfortunately.

I think the ideal scenario is a well priced non-specialist or mobile mechanic for basic generic jobs and a Porsche specialist for services and more tricky jobs. I would also want the option of labour only work if I can source parts cheaper.

If anyone has recommendations for local garages/Indys/mobile mechanics they trust and are reasonable I would love to hear them!

Porsche Torque in Uxbridge? JAZ St Albans?

Probably routine jobs can be done by almost any competent mechanic but anything specialist needing a Porsche specialist ain't likely to be that cheap. Cheap Porsches are readily available but cheap maintenance doesn't usually go with them.

Where ish near London? Brake discs and pads can be done by any regular garage. Oil change can be done by a fast fit chain if you chose so. Can even do an interim change yourself even if you say you can't work outside. Just get a suction pump and suck out the oil then replace.
