No style these days. I lament the loss of "Nat has herpes" and "M Khan is bent"

I love the way that the Wail calls the "give peas a chance" graffiti a "mural".

fking hate these graffitiists. Just tagging places with some indecipherable street name like a dog pissing on a wall to mark territory.

Proper graffiti can be an art form and I’ve seen some stunning work but just spray painting something repeatedly along a wall is a talentless as it gets. This ‘Helch’ character is even worse as he obviously just uses a roller and a tin of magnolia.

Quite. Hopefully one day he/she/they will be found under a railway ridge, run over by lorry.

When those three 'urban graffiti terrorists' were run over by an 'unexpected' night train a few months ago, very few people cried at their loss.
Not missed at all by anyone outside their immediate family, their lives wasted on a pointless pursuit with no redeeming features.

Helch is on pretty much every overbridge going up the M1 got sick of seeing it, regardless of the pretty colouring in....

This I see the mindless tag on all the bridges and it just does my head in, it has zero merit, its not artistic more autistic etc. What I would ideally like is for the highways agency to go out at night an just remove it. Would it be that hard. Its an eye sore. There are other examples on the M1, one bridge says carpe diem and the other direction crarpe noctum its sort of clever. HELCH in big letters is just pants. I actually everytime I see it hope the creator falls to his death it bothers me that much.

Give peas a chance was amusing. provided enjoyment on a journey etc. But if I am to see my dream of HELCH being removed I would accept as a price all other being removed. How can someone do this on the M1 when there are so many cameras everywhere.

I itially though nah... But the letters are only 10ft tall so quite possible.

As others have mentioned, surprised people haven't been caught doing it. Got to take a good few hours to do.

Photos of the Windsor one do make it stand out!

Why stop at Helch. I'd add Banksy to the list of people I'd willingly throw in prison.

Had to sit through a dinner party about a year ago when I had a list of people telling me I didn't understand art if I didn't appreciate Banksy.

I can't help thinking that if Bansky produced his 'art' on a conventional canvas then everyone would think it was juvenile cartoon drivel. If it appeared overnight on the wall of my house I would have to be restrained not to magnolia it off.

“You are now leaving the future” painted on a shed by the side of the A14 near Cambridgeshire, sadly now demolished to make way for the a14 upgrade.
