I’m hearing today that Audi has a stop delivery notice on A5 and A6 models ... does anyone have any more details on this? Cheers

I did see that some new models displayed text messages from an Android device directly on the infotainment system when it arrived. It should only tell you a new text message has arrived. Then you talk to it to tell it to read it to you. They stopped selling of new models and used models in Australia in order to get All software fixes and updates done first. Possible its something like that. I can’t find the link now

Could be due to this https://caremissionstestingfacts.eu/rde-real-drivi... some people are being told their new Golf GTi's can't be registered on Sept 1st due to it.

Rumour mill today is grinding away on stupid lease deals on physical Q7s that must be registered this month.

What’s the rumour and why would Audi put a stop delivery order on these?

About half way down:

New bit of WLTP testing comes into force next month; presumably there are some models not performing as required.

Doesn't specify but here's the online view of the email if you're interested; http://www.sytner-on-demand.co.uk/eshots/audi/2100...

Most likely outgoing pre-reg Q7s as the new model is about to arrive.

It won't be that - it's the exact opposite of of a Stop notice - the cars have to be registered by 31st Aug, and VW (so I'm assuming all VAG) was telling dealers they must handover vehicles by 16th Aug.

I had an email today saying my A5 had been delayed as they need to replace a part on the dash. Not had a chance to call up and get more details

There's a comment in the (I think) leasing forum about them needing to change the cluster and it being something to do with a safety system.

Further update ... I had the same call on my new A6 Avant ... apparently there is a hardware fix required which takes 2.5 hours when the get the parts ... and they won't release the car until this is done.

Just been told by the dealership it's the instrument cluster that needs replacing
