I was looking for the Opie oil recommendations thread but can't find it anywhere.

Has it been deleted for some reason?

Likely reason is they stopped paying the bill or they've decided not to advertise here anymore. Adrian Flux sticky disappeared in a similar manner, but they were suffering a barrage of (fully deserved) abuse at the time for their shoddy practices so that one wasn't surprising.
