This car was parked outside my sisters new house many years ago, and would love to find out what it is and when do we think it was built
My guess so far which probably isn’t right
Is that maybe it’s a Renault or a Peugeot
From the 1920’s any ideas would be marvellous
The bonnet mascot looks like a sheep or a poodle

My guess would have been Renault. The ghostly male apparition looking down on the kids is troubling.

...if it’s an AS I think the mascot would have been a sphinx. Happy to be corrected.

Yes you are correct I have looked on the net at a few of the bonnet mascots and they certainly are based on the Sphinx, my only knowledge of Armstrong siddeley was the sapphire tbh
And thought this car might of been a Renault based on the chamfers on the edge of the bonnet and What looked like a sloping front,
If she finds out anything more interesting related to the car I’ll post it on here

That looks like the Armstrong Siddeley Sphinx mascot on the car to me anyway. The mascot changed from earlier cars to ones a few years later in terms of the standing/lying position of the Sphinx
